As a former Sociologist, Amber is deeply interested in the social, cultural, and political context that shapes our society and the people within it. Whatever the question, in her role as a Qualitative Research Manager at Kelton, Amber grounds her recommendations in a broader social context to provide strategic insights that consider the full complexity of consumers.
Amber earned her M.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her B.A. from USC, where she studied both sociology and cinema studies. Her academic research focused on the relationship between large-scale social shifts and changes in media. Amber also spent time as a public-interest legal analyst, where she developed a passion for strategy.
In her free time, Amber is just as curious as she is in her work. She enjoys bringing people together to check out all the art, movies, live music, food, and hikes that LA has to offer. She’s also an avid reader, writer, podcast listener, and extremely amateur acro yogi.
