Ryan is passionate about understanding human interaction and the influence of external entities such as environment or other humans. This interest led Ryan to Kelton as a Quantitative Senior Analyst, where he helps clients analyze consumer behavior and generate insights through in-depth, data-driven research.
Ryan earned his M.S. in Social Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign after receiving his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame. His Master’s research focused on the internal and external factors that influence one’s likelihood to believe in conspiracy theories. Ryan’s thesis focused on the negative consequences of high “trust in science”, finding that blind trust can lead to belief in pseudoscientific conspiracies.
When not doing research, Ryan loves playing both board and video games, as well as watching anything Star Wars or eSports related. Additionally, he is a big fan of Notre Dame football and will continue to root for the team, regardless of how horribly they always seem to perform in the post-season.
