Hospira Market Research Case Study

The Challenge

Hospira wanted to improve the design and user experience of Mednet, a data reporting system designed to curb medication errors. Knowing that all good UX design begins and ends with insights, they approached Kelton to test their new prototype and propose improvements based on user feedback.

We assessed the existing design to identify opportunities for optimization, developed a prototype, and conducted qualitative testing to address any concerns of priority users, such as nurses and hospital IT in the US and international markets.

The Solution

We incorporated user feedback and best practices to optimize the MedNet prototype for usability and visual clarity, presented a detailed design template to the Hospira development team, and prioritized markets by ascertaining ‘adoption readiness’ for the updated product. Armed with an in-depth understanding of usability and actionable recommendations on how to optimize the prototype, Hospira was able to create a more intuitive platform for their users.
