As Associate Director, Quantitative Research, Brenna supports all phases of the research process – from initial idea and questionnaire development to data analysis and report creation. At Kelton, this means that she also gets to think about the relationship between quantitative and qualitative approaches to research. She loves how Kelton’s integrative approach creates the space for novel insights and innovation.
Before finding her home at Kelton, Brenna’s career took her from academia to entertainment. She spent several years conducting research in the field of social psychology, working her way from undergraduate research assistant to lab manager before eventually attending graduate school. After earning her Master of Arts in Psychology at New York University, Brenna decided to leave academia in search of research with more immediate real-world applications. She worked briefly with the filmmakers at Breakwater Studios to devise a digital and social media analytics practice but was eager to get back to the heart of what she loved most – researching people’s attitudes and behavior.
Born and bred in Southern California, Brenna is happy to be in sunny Los Angeles after her years in New York City. When she isn’t nerding out about research methods and data analysis, Brenna likes to explore her artistic creativity through drawing and writing. She has fun visiting the many museums and cultural events LA has to offer, and she is always looking to explore new places and find her way into adventure.
