As Director, Brand Strategy, Jay combines his interest in culture, psychology, and communication to craft strategic solutions for his clients. A cross-disciplinary thinker, he thrives when methodologies mix, get a little messy, and result in surprising, inspiring conclusions.
Before joining Kelton, Jay worked at a boutique brand strategy agency, working primarily on CPG and lifestyle brands. He then dug deep into the world of insights at a market research firm, where he discovered a natural passion and skill for making sense of the world through data.
Born and raised in Arkansas, Jay graduated from Rice University in Houston, Texas, with a degree in English. While he loves his adopted home of New York, he’ll never stop saying “y’all” and feeling most comfortable in oppressively hot and humid weather.
