As Director of Content Marketing, Max leads Kelton’s content marketing efforts, overseeing content production, product positioning, SEO, webinars, and PR initiatives. A writer with a passion for storytelling and branding, he’s responsible for creating and executing strategies that engage existing clients, attract new leads, and drive customer acquisition.
Prior to joining Kelton, Max’s marketing career spanned a number of different industries. He’s been part of in-house teams at a top-ranked public university and an Inc. 5000 consulting firm, and worked with some of the world’s biggest brands at Killer Visual Strategies — another Material agency. Across these roles, he’s developed a deep understanding of how great content can influence and transform organizations of all kinds.
A Midwest native, Max received a B.A. in English from the University of Michigan, where he graduated with high honors and won a prestigious Hopwood award. Outside the office, he spends his time reading and writing fiction, essays, and screenplays. He also enjoys hiking, relaxing at the beach, exploring neighborhoods, and trying new restaurants — some of the many reasons why he recently moved to LA.
