Americans want an additional 17 vacation days on average

The 2013 SpringHill Suites Annual Travel Survey, conducted by Kelton, has been released and reveals American thoughts about vacation days, how often they vacation and what they want to do when they finally take a break.

The survey found that on average, Americans want an additional 17 vacation days. Ninety percent say they want or need more days.

On average, an American takes a vacation once a year, and the survey found that they’d like to take a vacation twice a year.
